BUG: descript.ion not displayed

If the name of the folder is in national language (Russian, CP-1251) the comment from descript.ion file is not displayed.
For files in russian is OK, for folder in english is OK too.

had no luck reproducing your problem.
you can try attaching your descript.ion file.
i just tried with this one, and it worked just fine.

Upgraded to #060. The same situation.

Descript.ion file:

"English folder" Folder with name in English
"Русская папка" Folder with name in Russian
"English file.txt" File with name in English
"Русский файл.txt" File with name in Russian

i see no comment under the russian .txt file.

i think you just saved the descript.ion file with the wrong codepage

I tried to use descript.ion file in DOS coding, it was my mistake.

Different programs used different code pages for descript.ion file.
For example ACDSee  and Total Commander used Win codepages, but FAR used DOS coding.
I am use FAR, therefore some trubles with display in HFS.
