after over 1 year, i found how to reproduce this fu**ing bug  >:(
i won't say how because this may in case cause DoS problems.
it was introduced in beta5, as the first report attests.
sadly, this does not imply i will be able to fix it, but i will work on it.

Good job in finding out how to reproduce the bug.  Has it been over a year already?  Doesn't seem that long but I guess it is.

Are you sure it started in beta5?  (I know there was a report on it then).  I was just reading on what new features and bug fixes you did in that beta5 and I don't know if they would cause the processQ bug.

http://www.rejetto.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1480&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=beta5&start=325&sid=4abfc23a75689425c60ae2ace64aac41

Well now, at least you can reproduce the bug so maybe if you are lucky you will be able to figure out how to get rid of it.  Good luck.

I got the processQ bug for the first time:

It occured when a download of a file was ongoing and a second download of a different file was started. Both files were in the same virtual folder. The second file, which download aborted, had a space (accidentally) at the end of the name and started to transfer with the %20 encoding: "HFS2.0beta34_Grey1.0.zip%20". Speedlimit was set to 50kB/s and no other limits enabled. Hope this helps to locate the bug.

Again  processQ...

This time there was something really strange:
I was watching my site with win95 (yes, I still have it running on one PC ;) ) for some time. Suddenly, after clicking a link, the client-PC turned off. In fact, it was running, but the graphics went black and it was no more reacting to any inputs. I went upstairs to my HFS-running PC and there was a processQ error. I don't know if there is a direct relationship and if yes, which event caused the other, but if this error could really affect client, it becomes much larger... Maybe it was something with one of my machines, but who knows...

BTW: the address of the access violation is the same as last time (See my last posting here). Does this mean anything?
