Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong part of the forum for requests.

If you can fulfil these requests, I'll donate :)

1) Create users remotely, by logging into HFS as a certain user
2) Possibly remote control of the host computer through the web browser? I know VNC does this, but you need a special port open. If I'm in a location with most ports blocked, and I want to take control of my home computer, work for example.
3) Possible HTTPS built-in support?

Cheers!

All in the to-do list. http://www.rejetto.com/hfs/?f=todo

You can try ledufe's program to achieve your remote access needs, without vnc...

use tight-VNC (freeware) for remot controlling your server at home. Run the server in your home PC beside HFS.
You need not to install any viewer on any remote PC (you can, accessing then through default port 5900).
But you can access with any browser that has java installed through default port 5800. ( example: http://your.home.org:5800) and have complete remote control. Dont forget to open this ports on your router at home - you can also change the port numbers.
your computer has no brain - use your own !

It gave him a brain and a penis.
Unfortunately not enough blood to contemporarily bedew them

go to www.logmein.com

got only 443 and 8080 for proxy open at work and it gets through regardless, fails first connect but gets through on HTTP connect. works grand, free version works for most peoples needs.

new beta you can try out since your new has remote sound for other uses.
This is going to take a long time

We've got some of the tightest security in the state (because we are state owned :) and it gets through with an HTTP connect, I think its more likely you have a firewall blocking it. McAfee is a really pain to get working when it blocks logmein but usually it doesnt.

If you know who to ask see if HTTP connects are supported on your network. Let me know if you need specifics but you seem like you know what your doing.
