Title: No Page is loading
Post by: Thirteen37 on March 01, 2014, 08:51:25 AM
Hi there,

I'm using HFS since a long time and it worked always fine!
But now I changed my connection (from ADSL (3000kbit) to ADSL2+ (14000kbit) at same ISP).

I had to install a new router.
I used a Speedport W701V before and now it is a Speedport W921V.

The Ports are enabled and canyouseeme.org give me green light.

Success: I can see your service on [IP-ADRESS] on port ([PORT])
Your ISP is not blocking port [PORT]

If I quit HFS, this test will not work, so I think the ports are right configured and does only reach HFS?

When I try to connect on HFS by external IP, the page does NEVER load, but there are entrys in HFS, that someone wants to reach (status: idle 0) - if I hover the entry, there is Agent: <unknown>

But if I try to connect with internal IP, it works without any problems! The Agent will be detected here.

I changed HFS to trusted Software in Kaspersky Internet Security and it will not work even if I disable KIS completely.

The self test brings this at 'Testing internet connection':

Sorry, the test is unavailable at the moment

Versions I used:
2.2b Build 150, 2.2c Build 151, 2.2d Build 152, 2.2f Build 155 and the latest 2.3 Build 288

When I try to connect on HFS by external IP, the page does NEVER load,

perfectly normal. That's how most routers work. If you are IN the lan you have to use the INTERNAL address. Just that.

because the proxy is on the internet.
It's like you are going from your room to the kitchen, but passing by supermarket. Quite a walk.
