Hi there~

please let me know if anyone has same problem in HFS 2.2 build 126, thks

I'm using HFS v2.2 build 126 with template "Thunderchicken of Glory v2.90", when I open Edit HTML Template, it's display nothing there, that;s mean all is blank, when try to import another template and get the same result, is it something wrong

what OS do u use?

do you talk about adding another link to external site? its up to what template that u use. edit HTML template, find where links located, add your links like <a href=http://youranotherweb>NEW HOME</a>

right click
enable "no download"
disable "browsable"

that's all

simpler but i think GE suggestion works better. disable browsable will disable us to go to the folder, how to upload file into the folder without enter the folder? (the answer is like foggy said i think). what the purpose on showing the folder but we cant enter it? why dont set if the folder is not browsable, it also will be hidden.

enable no download will view the file. visitor can click but cannot download. its better not show the file at all, or show the file without link to it (have to edit the template)

anyway, rejetto's is much2 simpler. if you dont want to spent much time just use this way

Maybe it has something to do with the extra programs you've installed, cause i can see 4 icons in the top bar that are not supposed to be there.. So, maybe its a software conflict, who knows.

might be software conflict, but not necessarily for that prog because i also have the same prob without use that prog. i try the same thing, adding file (single/multiple) using context menu at my U's comp, also have same prob. both my pc and that comp runing winXP. i think i need to try with a "fresh" computer that does not have any program that may associate with this problem installed but i dont think i have one.

about the 1st prob, do u use windowblind? i also use windowblind before and having same prob. theres also problem updating dyndns automatically.

what i would like to suggest - try unload wblind and see if hfs running ok again, if ok then save option. then try restart windows to see whether the server on during startup.

The Hz of the mp3 file needs to be devide-able by 11025. Meaning 11025, 22050, 33075, 44100 are having no problems at all.
Next, the song must have a constant bitrate. If you use a variable bitrate, it may sound funny in some or most flash players.

i also experience this prob too, but at least my explorer never crash if i cancel. do you get the copy/move thing only when try add multiple file, but not if u add single file? because i got that both way.

however i wonder if this prob cause by hfs. i have keyboard with play button for music player on it. if im working with explorer let say at that time i selecting a few file and i press that play/pause button, the same copy/move dialog appear. this make me think the problem is explorer itself.. i havent install any driver for the keybod

im afraid i misunderstand here. correct me if im wrong. u put a html page at hfs root to be your main page. from that main page, u want to access the fileserver. am i correct?

if yes u should do as tuskenraider said. put html page at main root, and all other files/folders inside 1 main folder. at the home page, put a link to "/mainfoldername/

then, right click at home icon at hfs, select "default file mask" and put the html file name, eg "index.htm". your vfs sholud look like image attached
