Title: Screenshot upload to HFS similar to Puush? (not an issue, just a request/ )
Post by: thefear900 on November 29, 2014, 04:04:33 PM
I was wondering if there were any plugins, templates, macros or something that can take a screenshot and automatically add to the VHS while copying the URL. I'm not requesting anyone to make anything like this, but just wondering if something exists. Thanks for any input.

Edit: This would be taking screenshots from the same system as the HFS server as well, a Local machine not remote.

since the PC is the same, your screen-grabber should just put the file in a folder that is shared by HFS.
The feature missing would be the copy of the URL. I would try to achieve this with a different utility.

a possible program before windows vista sniping tool:

Light screen is a print screen program that take a picture and saves it to a picture in a default folder path...

You can use a macro ie a script to hit the print screen button to put it in the folder every once in a while (or push it/ the button your self).. (the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard or by script via onscreen keyboard....)

AS for hfs and copy-ing the full url path, you could do the same with the marco script to hit the print screen and open the program add file / copy url path...

There are free version of some software.. links to software that i have use and had success with...

Thank you very much for your reply. I will experiment with these and see if I can modify my existing AutoHotkey scripts to do this, or possibly with AutoIT3. The thought hadn't crossed my mind to use these. Thanks.
