Hi I need a clean hfs 2.4 compatible movie/music template with mobile support where:
1. file list are listed above and showing as thumbnail, folder thumbnail photo taken from cover.jpg inside the folder itself.
2. video/music player at bottom, video can play subtitle, audio can go to next track after current track end (not shuffled).
3. if possible, the video/music only can playable but can't download.
Do u guys have a template similar to what I need? thanks

you can try mobillight (http://rejetto.com/forum/index.php?topic=11754.msg1061351#msg1061351)
1. folder thumbnail needs some editing (https://github.com/dj0001/hfs-template/blob/gh-pages/help.htm#L14-L16)
(rename 'cover.jpg' in the 'folder1' directory to 'folder1' and move it to the 'thumb' subfolder of the parent folder)
2. audio can go to next track after current track end (not shuffled)
no buttons, use chrome or android buttons, no subtitle (without addon)
3. not possible
you can try this (http://rejetto.com/forum/index.php?topic=13173.msg1064794#msg1064794) videoplayer with vtt subtitles

Do you use music from online sources like Spotify or YouTube or do you use music that you have saved on your computer?

It's obviously meant to only play/use music you've already bought (https://www.cnet.com/pictures/best-sites-to-buy-mp3/)/ (https://www.google.com/search?q=Where+to+buy+MP3+legally&hl=en)saved (https://www.theguardian.com/arts/netmusic/page/0,13368,1127237,00.html) on your computer. For example: you have some original CDs (https://www.discogs.com/search/?format_exact=CD) as a source and you have made a copy (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/)/rip (https://www.fosshub.com/Exact-Audio-Copy.html) to MP3 files (see a tutorial here (https://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/exact_audio_copy_installation_and_configuration.cfm)), then you could (for your own personal use only) stream that music files to your mobile, directly from your PC using HFS, everything without having to depend on any external service (to make it legally (https://www.lifewire.com/is-cd-ripping-legal-2438422), you have to password protect the folder that contain those files, or use it only on your LAN (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Local_area_network), or use files without copyright (https://www.google.com/search?q=Copyright+free+MP3+music&hl=en)). That's the whole idea of having your own server: serve your own files (and not depend of any big company).
@Hanna (https://rejetto.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=107569): I'm curious (since you are new here): how you have discovered HFS?... :)

you can also add links (to youtube or spotify tracks or webradio (http://dir.xiph.org/)) to hfs
but you must be the admin
How about sharing links?
you can create a Internet Shortcut file (.url): simply drag address from browser to desktop
then upload the file to hfs
another user clicks on the file: and must download it, before he can open the link (adding mime don't help here)
Perhaps I will write a addon to open the link (in the url file) immediately.

sharing links was never easier
simply drag address from browser to Upload button (V2)

although i have access through HFS to my NAS, also to music files, i mostly play it using https://emby.media/ , the free version.
It works like a charm, the experience is close to a native app.
