Title: Can I download files in bulk?
Post by: platinum on October 31, 2012, 05:40:04 AM
My goal is to download multiple files from a server using HFS (Http File Server) over an HTTP connection.
is there any application/batch script that can perform bulk download?

I have try WinHTTrack3.46 but get so many errors (1073 errors). its only got mirrored website which contain : Server busy page.

Is it possible to download the files from sub-directories and not getting error files (server busy page)?

nb: I do not have administrative privileges on the system I need to download to.

Thanks
Dimitria

yes in root folder or under folders to HOME under same folder select file by file that you wanna have then it say items 2 now you can click archive HFS say are you sure ? you klick ok then it download a TAR file that is named what the folder name was when it is download open TAR file with winrar or winzip and inside is the files you downloaded

you can try to download /~folder.tar
from the root, and see if you have access to that, and if it's complete.

you get that page because there's a limit on how fast you can access the server. The downloader (httrack) may perhaps be configured to retry when getting an error, instead of just taking it.
