I don't want to interrupt Rejetto's activities with what I will say now, but If you really need to create user groups maybe you can look for WWW File Share Pro http://www.wfshome.com.

Don't shoot me Rejetto, I like HFS very much :D

Personally I think the system of passwords in HFS like it is at the moment is satisfying enough, after all HFS is more intended for small home use.

Greetings.

I don't wanna interrupt too but the program you recommend in your posting isn't freeware. HFS is.
And even with a lot more options and it's getting better each new version.
Although I must admit I'm just a new user.
BTW I love these forums where the developer gives answers to our questions.

Hi.

First of all: If folders have passwords it works.
But the root isn't passworded anymore.
So if I open a vps file the root haven't got a password anymore.
But the folders still got them.

Example:
When I set the passwords it looks like this:

Now I save the filesystem on my HD.
Then I "close and reopen" the program.
I load the saved filesystem and it looks like this:

As you can see the root isn't passworded anymore.
That's our little problem. We like a secure way to open servers to the internet.
I hope you understand now.
Maybe you can do anything about it in a next version.
Thanks in advance.

P.S. Sorry for the big images but you get the picture.
:-)

Hi y'all.
Here is the username and password not saved to the .vsf file either.
It dissappears when you close and reopen the program.
I hope it can fixed in a future version.
Thanks.
