Title: Upload Bug
Post by: kaokai on January 30, 2007, 04:18:54 AM
Hi,
I love HFS very much. It did great help on shareing files with friends. However, I found a small bug while upload a file which was put under a folder named in chinese.

Here is the scenario I upload a file via browsing the HFS url,
1.Choose the UPLOAD button
2.Browse a file under a folder which was named in Chinese.
3.Upload the file
4.It returns the 輛\car.txt: OK --- N/A (Speed 72 KB/s)
5.The file car.txt doesen't show up in the menu when I click "back to the folder"

I have attached the test folder and file in the attachment. Could you please help me to check it ?

Thanks very much!

what if you, after step 5, click "refresh" on your browser?

The file still not appears when I refresh the browser.
I am sure the file doesen't upload correctly cuase I can't find the file in the real folder.

If I change the folder name to English then there is no problem with uploading files.

i think your folder name is actually unicode, and HFS doesn't support unicode on NTFS yet.
