Great prog.
Love it, impressive speed.......
when my buddy tries a large file...he gets the connection reset by server...
after 20~60 meg has been downloaded,we tried a number of things
but to no avail.

I run win98....he is xp...
self test instantly says good to go.
I am cable he is dsl
The file is a large .avi type.
smaller files are very fast, and completed
I do not have any trouble in my network, like up to down stairs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.......thanks in advance....

There cant be a connection problem because you can start the download, so im thinking it could possibly be your isp reseting the connection?

Is it always after the same amount has been sent or is it somewhere in between 20-60mb

What does the log in hfs say? (Right Click on Log > Log What > Disconnections)

Could it be the possibility of your connection timing out?

yes, log disconnections and tell us about it

consider also making these tests to see if the problem persists
1. disable your/his firewall temporarily
2. pass the file to another friend
3. use a similar software

I have this every week, on a certain day when someone trys to download a reoccuring tv show they watch and I post for them.  I figured it was probably the ISP killing to transfer.  But on the second try it usually finishes.

Bob, its been a few days, did the list of possible fixes work for you that Rejetto posted?
This is going to take a long time

could it be the dsl  reconnecting your ISP.
Check in the dsl modem or router config for keep alive time or redial period and increase it
