when people browse my site and do not find something they are looking for.
They know they are not the only subdirectories of the directory are currently being sought.

The current search looks into all the folder where an user has access.
To look for a file into a single folder is sufficient to enter in that folder and use the "search" feature of any browser.

Maybe I got it wrong  ??? ???

He is talking about recursive and non-recursive searching. The advanced search I created achieves this. But I do not think the default template needs it. To make ?search= work with recursive, enable recursive listing in your hfs.

what you are asking for, is not an improvement, it only fills up the screen.

If your visitors search for 'harry potter' in folder music store .. y fear to those people a new option would not help anyway  ;).
your computer has no brain - use your own !

just know that you don't even need to wait for a new version to be published.
