File merge on multiple upload

Sometimes (no pattern found) when uploading several files (with one form) several of those files get merged together (under the name of one of them) on the server end filesystem.

For instance, FileA.ext (3 KB) and FileB.ext (6 KB) end up as FileA.ext (9 KB). FileB.ext is not even present on server end.

Environment: Win2K3 R2 on Opteron; Rackspace hosting. HFS runs under Remote Desktop user's account (admin). The files being merged usually are small SQL Server unicode scripts.

Yes, there's definitely something wrong with uploading small (about 1kB) text files. I'm using the latest 108 and Opera:

- one single text file always uploads perfectly and results with the OK notification
- two text files only rarely succeed, normally it just uploads the first one, but gets stuck on second one. No OK notification on neither one...the whole page is just stuck loading something. No merging here though.
- three text files never succeeded
- binary files, no matter how many of them, always succeed
