HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Separate "Browsable" attribute for uploaders
« on: January 28, 2007, 12:51:17 PM »
When you make 2 folders, one download, with acces for up and downloaders, and a upload folder only accesable for the uploaders to browse and upload(with password) then you have what you seek, if the downloaders may not see the upload folder, hide the folder, the uploaders have to browse then http://yourhfs/upload/

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / request user groups
« on: January 28, 2007, 11:12:36 AM »
Hi again,

I use Filezilla ftp server to, and with that program you can make user groups. These  groups has acces for download and or upload rights, so when I make a new user, I only have to link him to a group and all the rights are automaticly done.

Now I have to give every user the rights to specific folders for up and download.

Is this an Idea?

you mean multiple ini?

yes, I'll go to a computer club, and then I want different settings than at home, now I use 2 installations(thats not to bad because it's small) but it would be handy if I could choose wichs ini file I could use the same as te file system. If this is possible.

it is a bug in the program you used to download, not HFS.

what program did you use? explorer?

Sorry I did indeed used ie  :-[, with orbit downloadmanager it goes great, after 2.1c every thing works fine, great program keep on doing the good work.

By the way is it possible to make multiple ine files stored? that would be great.

Hfs 2.1c says that 4.7 Gb file is only 368 Mb, is there a max. files size or is this a bug.
